This is an excellent flashlight that I have tested in rigorous conditions (heat, cold to -20F, wet). It has the robust expected Aluminum, reliable switch, good bezel, easy ON, harder off  (top prevent un-intentional OFF) controls, High quality anodized finish, that are expected in a high-end flashlight. What makes it a Greatest Of All Time are:

• extreme LOW – long press (maintains night vision, can run the light all night/all trip long, makes it easy to find at night) This low-power setting can also work to “charge” a night glow pad/mat
• extreme bright (double click) – a very powerful beam that has been proven to disorient marauder coyotes – saved my dog as well as saved the coyotes from serious consequences
• constant OFF (travel protection) – when the flashlight is OFF – quarter turn anti-clockwise of the battery tube
• constant ON (accidental OFF protection) – when the flashlight is ON – quarter turn anti-clockwise of the battery tube
• BALANCE of THROW and SPILL for the outdoors – this is not a super wide handyman light – it is an outdoors oriented light, more for throw than spill
